Yeye received a Bachelor’s degree in Animation (2011) and a Master’s degree in the Cartoon and Picture Book Course (2013) from Kyoto Seika University in Japan. After returning to Korea, she has continued to engage with the public through publishing and exhibitions. Having worked for many years as a cartoonist, she began to focus on her practice as a painter following her first solo exhibition in 2022. Combining cartoon and painting techniques, she develops a distinctive visual language through which she portrays her special dog, Moonge.
